Privacy Policy
Tropic Haven Adventures (Country Mungrel Studios, Kingston, Jamaica) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect and why, in line with the Jamaica Data Protection Act, 2020.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email, phone, password (stored hashed).
- Listing details from hosts, including property address and photos.
- Booking details: dates, guests, amounts paid, payout details for hosts.
- Messages sent through the Site between hosts, guests and our team.
- Technical data: IP address, browser, pages visited (via cookies and analytics).
Why we use it
To run the marketplace, process bookings and payouts, verify listings, prevent fraud, send transactional emails, and improve the Site. We do not sell your data.
Payments
Card payments are processed by PayPal; we never see your full card number. Bank-transfer details you send us are used only to match your payment to your booking.
Sharing
We share booking details between the host and guest for a confirmed stay, and with service providers (hosting, email, payments) who process data on our behalf. We disclose data where Jamaican law requires.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data from your profile or by emailing hello@tropichavenadventures.com. You can close your account at any time; we keep booking records as long as the law requires.

We use cookies to keep you logged in and for basic analytics. You can block cookies in your browser; some features may stop working.
